Elevenses #3 Soup’n Roll will keep you warm!

Another fantastic activity took place at the Hilton Docklands Riverside this month!

Nicky had prepared a country dance performance exceptionally executed with her team.

27 members attended the event for a fun moment and to get ready this autumn, Fraser (Warm and Well in Winter) gave us tips on how to keep warm this winter, informed us on which temperature would be the most suitable for our living room (21°C), and the bedroom (18°C).

And to make sure we would get it right, when back home, he offered us Thermometers reminding the tips!

Allison and Philippe had amazingly prepared the event, treating us with freshly pressed orange juice – full of Vitamin C we need to fight against viruses, a nice veggie soup to warm us up, sandwiches and mini carrot cakes for people with a sweet tooth!

We will see them again in November for Coffee time and December for Xmas Lunch!

So don’t miss it out!

We support thousands of older people who are challenged with issues including illness, poverty as well as poor physical health and wellbeing. We also support people who are isolated and suffer from mental health distress such as depression or alcohol dependency. We can supply people with knowledge about the services and benefits entitled to them.
